The right destination depends on what happened after the arrest:
- For a county booking record or photo, begin with the Lee County arrest-record overview and send a specific request to the Sheriff’s Office.
- For a new booking or present custody, call the Lee County Jail. The county does not publish a confirmed live jail roster or same-day booking feed.
- For a multi-day city arrest log, use Fort Madison Police’s official Activity Log. Keokuk and West Point do not have a confirmed public arrest feed.
- For release or transfer alerts, use IowaVINE and verify that Lee County Jail appears in the live service before relying on the result.
- For a police incident report, contact the city police department that made the arrest. That report and the county jail booking file are separate records.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, parolee, or probation record, use the Iowa Department of Corrections Offender Search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the official Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. Those systems do not replace a Lee County booking record.
